Akbar Adhi Satrio

I started my role as a lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Bandung Institute of Technology in 2014. I began my doctoral journey at the School of Design, Design and Social Context College, RMIT University in 2023 and am currently continuing my studies there. My main research topic is the Indonesian traditional craft known as Kriya, particularly in ceramics. I have been involved in several community development programs and research in this area since 2008, and I'm still working on this topic for my PhD research. Specifically, I'm studying the relation and significance of form in cultural practices.
