Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a visual storyteller who balances technical precision with creative flair. You will be responsible for the entire video production lifecycle—from initial brainstorming and directing on-set to high-end post-production and digital asset management.

Creative Planning & Pre-Production

  • Collaborate with the Creative team (Directors, Copywriters, and Art Directors) to brainstorm and develop compelling video concepts.
  • Translate creative briefs or scripts into detailed visual storyboards and technical shot lists.
  • Plan technical production requirements, including the selection of cameras, lenses, lighting, and audio gear.
  • Conduct site surveys to ensure technical readiness and aesthetic alignment for shoots.

Production & On-Field Direction

  • Operate professional video equipment (DSLR, Mirrorless, or Cinema Cameras) to capture high-quality visual content.
  • Set up professional lighting (studio or outdoor) to achieve specific moods and visual styles.
  • Manage high-quality audio recording using external microphones (lapel, boom, shotgun).
  • Serve as the On-Field Director, taking full responsibility for shots, angles, lighting, and talent performance to ensure alignment with the approved creative vision.
  • Capture a diverse range of footage, including wide shots, close-ups, and cinematic B-rolls.

Post-Production & Asset Management

  • Edit raw footage into a cohesive and dynamic narrative (from rough cut to final cut) using professional software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Execute professional Color Correction and Color Grading to ensure a cinematic and consistent look.
  • Handle Sound Design, including audio cleaning, voice-over integration, background music selection, and SFX.
  • Create and integrate basic motion graphics, text elements, and lower thirds using Adobe After Effects.
  • Export and optimize final videos for various platforms and aspect ratios (TikTok/Reels 9:16, YouTube 16:9, etc.).
  • Maintain, clean, and manage the company’s digital asset library, including routine backups and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

  • Preferably Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of Experience as a Videographer and Editor in a Creative Agency or Production House.
  • Expert proficiency in professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro).
  • Solid technical mastery of professional camera systems (Sony, Canon, or Cinema Cameras), lighting setups, and audio recording.
  • Proven ability to act as a Director on-set, with a keen eye for visual composition and talent directing.
  • Creative storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex briefs into engaging visual content.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle tight deadlines, and implement revisions accurately.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in videography and video editing.
  • High level of ownership over equipment maintenance and digital asset organization.
  • Must provide a portfolio or showreel demonstrating both videography and editing skills.
