Job Description

  •  Lead the design process for POS-related projects, from concept through to completion.
  •  Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups to clearly illustrate design concepts.
  •  Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
  •  Work closely with product management to understand business goals, user needs, and technical constraints.
  •  Develop user personas, journey maps, and task flows specific to the POS environment.
  •  Ensure consistent brand and design language across all POS interfaces.
  •  Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation and conduct design reviews.
  •  Stay up-to-date on industry trends, POS technology, and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team.
  •  Propose and implement UX improvements to enhance the efficiency and usability of POS systems.

 

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of UI/UX design experience, with at least 2 years working on POS systems or related retail/hospitality applications.
  • Design Tools: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or
  • similar.
  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding of POS workflows, checkout processes, inventory management, and end-user scenarios in retail or hospitality.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing POS system designs, including case studies highlighting your design process, challenges, and solutions.
  • User-Centric Design: Proven track record in translating complex user requirements into simple and efficient UI/UX designs.
  • Technical Collaboration: Experience working closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of design specs.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify usability issues and recommend solutions to enhance user experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (preferred).
