Job Description
- Support the daily cash operations cycle: monitoring bank balances, executing payments within the approval matrix, and flagging discrepancies
- Maintain and update the bank database — accounts, signatories, interest rates, user access — and conduct monthly reviews
- Assist in developing, documenting, and maintaining Treasury SOPs (daily cash ops, payment controls, FX dealing, investment, margin management)
- Support the approval matrix rollout — tracking transactions and ensuring zero processing outside defined limits
- Prepare FX exposure reports and assist in executing forward contracts under the supervision of the Treasury Manager
- Monitor the float account architecture (Settlement, OPEX, Investment, Nostro tiers) and ensure sweep rules are followed
- Track interest income across bank accounts and support idle balance deployment into approved instruments (overnight sweeps, time deposits, money market funds)
- Prepare regular internal treasury reports and dashboards for management review
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in corporate treasury operations, corporate banking, or financial operations in fintech, or corporate treasury environment
- Hands-on experience with bank reconciliation, cash management, and payment processing
- Working knowledge of FX instruments — at minimum, spot and forward contracts
- Solid understanding of investment instruments: time deposits, overnight sweeps
- Extremely meticulous and process-driven — able to spot discrepancies in large data sets and flag issues proactively
- High sense of urgency — comfortable operating at a fast pace with tight daily deadlines
- Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets for reporting and data management
- Strong written communication skills — able to write clear, structured SOPs and reports
- Comfortable working in a startup/scaleup environment with evolving processes
