Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Language Editor / Translation Editor to join our global team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and cultural relevance of our translated content across various platforms. Responsibilities: Review and edit translated materials to ensure they meet high-quality standards and maintain the original intent. Perform thorough proofreading and copy editing to correct grammatical, punctuation, and stylistic errors. Collaborate with translators and project managers to resolve linguistic ambiguities. Ensure consistency in terminology and brand voice across all documents. Adapt content to suit the target audience while maintaining cultural sensitivity. Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional experience in translation editing, copy editing, or a related linguistic field.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and at least one other language, with a deep understanding of cultural nuances.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing error-free content.
- Proven expertise in proofreading and copy editing within a professional setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback to translation teams.
- Familiarity with CAT tools and translation management systems is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, English, or a relevant field.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a remote environment.
