Technology Lead — Technology Department
At Tentang Anak, we’re building a category-defining parenting products that truly supports families in Indonesia. We’re looking for a Technology Lead to own key initiatives that scale our system speed, quality, and reliability. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to build meaningful, resilient systems—not just ship features.
What You’ll Own
- Platform Architecture & Productivity: Own development velocity frameworks, ensure scalable architecture across services, and reduce friction in cross-team execution.
- Data Integrity & System Sync: Ensure 99.99%+ accuracy in cross-system data pipelines; lead initiatives to improve backend stability and eliminate manual sync points.
- Cost & Performance Optimization: Lead the transition away from legacy APIs and optimize system load costs, especially around checkout and order flows.
- Quality Engineering Standards: Drive improved test coverage, low error rates, and system uptime metrics; collaborate with QA to define robust release gates.
- Tech Governance & Cross-Team Enablement: Act as a multiplier for tech squads—review PRs, coach engineers, build tools/processes that scale code quality.
What Success Looks Like (6–12 months)
- Backend productivity ratio improves by 2.3x vs previous cycle
- 99.99% accuracy achieved in all data and order syncs
- Legacy APIs successfully migrated to Golang with zero downtime
- System error rates <1% and uptime maintained at 99.95%+
- Test coverage improves to 85%+ on core services
Requirements
You’re a Fit If You
- Have 8–10 years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering, with proven results in system scalability and cost efficiency
- Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and love solving root problems—not just surface bugs
- Are comfortable owning metrics and driving results across multiple teams, even without direct authority
- Think in systems and proactively reduce tech debt through simplification, documentation, and automation
- Are highly analytical, humble, and rigorous about code quality and long-term maintainability

Seniority & Scope
This is a Lead-level individual contributor role with significant cross-functional influence. You will work directly with Product Managers, Engineers, and the COO to set direction, review critical code, and drive architectural decisions.
