Job Description
As a Technical Manager, you will oversee technical operations, ensuring all equipment functions efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards. You will manage repairs, installations, and technical service reports, while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Responsible for supervising and completing equipment repairs to ensure proper functionality.
🔹 Conduct technical installations of ultrasound and other medical devices at customer sites.
🔹 Prepare detailed reports after each repair, installation, or maintenance activity.
🔹 Ensure technicians complete service reports accurately for both installed and damaged units.
🔹 Provide comprehensive customer visit and trip reports to management.
🔹 Ensure all technical activities comply with product specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
🔹 Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues effectively to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
🔹 Manage spare part inventory and ensure timely availability for repairs and maintenance.
🔹 Collaborate with the sales and clinical teams to support customer service excellence.
🔹 Lead, mentor, and support the technician team in achieving performance targets.
Requirements
Requirements
✔️ Bachelor’s Degree (D3/S1) in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
✔️ Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical service, field service, or maintenance role — preferably in medical devices (Ultrasound experience is a plus).
✔️ Min 2-3 years of experience in managerial level
✔️Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
✔️ Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects and prioritize effectively.
✔️ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
✔️ Able to work independently and lead a small technical team.
✔️ Willing to travel out of town for installations or service assignments.
✔️ Knowledge of equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance.
✔️ Proficient in preparing technical documentation and service reports.
✔️ Possess a valid driving license (SIM A/C).
