Job Description
- Handle and oversee the company’s tax compliance and reporting activities in accordance with applicable Indonesian tax regulations.
- Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of monthly and annual tax returns.
- Manage tax calculations, including PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), PPh 25, PPh 26, and VAT (PPN).
- Ensure timely payment and reporting of tax obligations.
- Conduct tax reconciliation between accounting records and tax reports.
- Provide tax advisory and recommendations regarding tax implications of business transactions.
- Assist in tax audits, tax reviews, and tax examinations by the relevant authorities.
- Monitor updates in Indonesian tax regulations and assess their impact on the company’s business activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments, external tax consultants, and tax authorities when required.
- Identify potential tax risks and recommend appropriate solutions to ensure tax compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in taxation, with proven experience handling taxation specialist or senior-level tax responsibilities.
- Experience in a taxation consulting firm (Tax Consultant) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, tax compliance, and tax reporting.
- Experienced in handling various tax types, including PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), PPh 25, PPh 26, and VAT (PPN).
- Familiar with tax audits, tax reconciliation, and tax risk management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting or tax software.
- Having a valid Brevet A & B certification is preferred.
- Experience working with e-Faktur, e-Bupot, and DJP Online/Coretax is an advantage.
