About the Role
Tax Staff is responsible for preparing tax payments and returns while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This role requires integrity in handling tax data, empathy in collaborating with stakeholders, and agility in adapting to regulatory and business changes, while maintaining accurate tax records.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Assist the Accounting and Finance Team with various tax-related activities in accordance with the overall tax strategy, ensuring the organization meets its tax obligations accurately, transparently, and responsibly.
- Perform tax reconciliation and tax filing with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage all taxes, including monthly SPT, annual SPT, and other tax requirements such as Tax Art 21, 23, 25, 4(2), 26, VAT, etc., while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Assist with tax planning, tax reporting, compliance, tax submissions, and other tax-related activities while adapting to changes in tax regulations and business requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and review of annual corporate income tax, ensuring data is accurate, complete, and properly documented.
- Maintain good and transparent communication with tax consultants, auditors, and local tax authorities, while demonstrating professionalism and understanding of different stakeholder needs.
Requirements
What Capabilities You’ll Need (Requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Good skills in E-Faktur.
- Good skills in Tax Unification.
- Strong analytical and data reconciliation skills, with high attention to accuracy and integrity.
- Preferred experience in a startup company or dynamic working environment.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Strong knowledge and experience in tax compliance systems, e-filing, ERP, and accounting software.
- Knowledge of the interpretation and application of core tax principles and practices, with a strong understanding of applicable tax regulations.
- Big 4 experience would be an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate the ability to gather, analyze, and communicate data logically while collaborating effectively with others.
- Willing to work in North Jakarta.
