Tax Manager

Job description and key responsibilities: 

• Oversee the preparation, review, and timely submission of all tax filings (VAT, WHT, CIT, and other applicable taxes). 
• Ensure accurate tax calculations, payments, reconciliations, and tax provisions. 
• Monitor changes in tax regulations, government decrees, and other relevant tax legislation, and ensure timely implementation across the Company. 
• Provide tax advisory support for business initiatives, new products, contracts, and operational matters. 
• Review agreements and transactions to identify and mitigate tax risks. 
• Lead tax planning initiatives and support tax-efficient business structures. 
• Manage tax audits, assessments, objections, and disputes with tax authorities. 
• Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulators. 
• Ensure effective tax governance, internal controls, and documentation. 
• Lead and develop the tax team while driving process improvements and automation. 
• Support tax workstreams in fundraising, due diligence, and M&A activities. 
• Coordinate with group-level finance on consolidated tax reporting across the group's multi-jurisdictional structure.
