Job Description
- Collect, process, and analyze data using SQL to support business needs
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, views, and reports
- Perform data cleaning and ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Create regular and ad-hoc analytical reports for stakeholders
- Translate business questions into data-driven insights
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data
- Support decision-making by providing actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with business, product, and technical teams
- Maintain documentation for queries, reports, and data definitions
- Ensure data integrity and follow data governance standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle)
- Ability to write complex SQL queries (JOINs, subqueries, CTEs, window functions)
- Experience in data cleaning, validation, and transformation using SQL
- Understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts
- Experience working with large datasets
- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar) is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Basic knowledge of Python or R is an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
