Job Description
- Develop and implement personalized Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess student needs and create tailored learning strategies
- Adapt curriculum to individual learning styles and challenges
- Track and document student progress against IEP goals
- Utilize assistive technologies and modified instructional techniques
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support professionals
- Ensure compliance with special education regulations
- Support students' academic, social, and emotional development
- Facilitate inclusive learning environments
- Conduct regular progress reviews and update intervention plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, or similar.
- Comprehensive understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Proficiency in adaptive teaching strategies and assistive technologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop personalized learning plans
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Emotional resilience and patience
- Commitment to inclusive and supportive learning environments
- Technological competence in educational software and assessment tools
- Willingness to participate in continuous professional development
