Job Description
- Develop, deploy, and operate systems to solve challenges around applications security, vulnerability patch automation, intrusion detection, continuous monitoring etc
- Research and evaluate applications and services for use
- Integrate tools with the build pipeline to detect security vulnerability early in the software development lifecycle
- Assist with the deployment and upkeep of the information security department's website content
- Record and track IT security incidents, including but not limited to copyright violations, compromised accounts, email threat's, and abuse reports from various sources
Requirements
- Have knowledge with AWS, configuration management technologies, windows, UNIX, and Linux operating systems
- Preference given to students enrolled with a concentration in Information Technology and majoring in Computer Science
- Must uphold, enforce, and abide by all institutions policies and an understanding of the protocol security (client & server)
- Preferably candidates who had an experience with cyber security
- Strong writing & communications skills
Time Commitment:
Part-time (20-30 hours per week) or Full-time (40 hours per week)
