About Bumame
Bumame is currently on a mission to transform our internal operations through technology. We are moving away from manual processes to a fully integrated, custom-built internal system that will streamline our healthcare business. As we grow our core Engineering team, we need a pioneer who can ensure our internal tools are robust, scalable, and error-free.
We are looking for a Foundational QA Engineer who is excited about building things from the ground up. You won't just be testing a product; you will be the guardian of the systems that power our entire business—from lab management to supply chain integration.
You will be working closely with our Engineering Manager and Software Engineer to establish the QA culture and automation framework at Bumame.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End System Validation: Analyze business requirements for internal tools and create comprehensive test scenarios that cover the entire business flow.
- Automation Engineering: Build and maintain automated test scripts for our web and mobile-based internal applications to ensure long-term system stability.
- API & Integration Testing: Validate complex integrations between different business modules using tools like Karate, Postman, or SQL.
- Performance Readiness: Conduct performance and stress testing to ensure our internal systems can handle Bumame's high-volume operational data.
- Release Orchestration: Coordinate the release of new internal features, acting as the gatekeeper for quality before deployment.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, with a balanced expertise in both Manual and Automation testing.
- Proficient in modern automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Karate, or Appium.
- Strong command of SQL and database validation. Experience with ETL processes or database administration is a huge plus.
- Comfortable working in a small, lean team. You are a self-starter who can estimate timelines and manage testing execution independently.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, or a related technical field.
