Job Description
- Actively monitor and manage code repository, code reviews, and managing software rollout.
- Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.
- Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
- Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard.
- Monitor and ensure the performance and availability of the software currently in production.
- Monitor and setup development & production environments with Software Engineer managers.
- Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.
- Updating work schedules and performing identify risks as required.
- Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
- Motivating staff and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.
- Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Supervisor or related field.
- Experience with multiple programming languages and libraries (e.g. PHP, Typescript, Go).
- Good knowledge of Windows/Linux Server and Database.
- Experience with Agile & Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Bonus points if you have the following skills:
- Experience managing cloud services ex. Alibaba Cloud, AWS, GCP, etc.
- Experience handling projects with substantial levels of traffic or user engagement.
