About the Role:
As a Social Media Intern, you will support the Social Media team in daily content activities, from trend research and content preparation to scheduling and simple reporting. In this role, Agility is key—you'll need to adapt quickly to fast-moving internet trends. We are looking for someone who is creative, active on social media, eager to learn, and genuinely interested in digital marketing. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
- Platform Support: Support daily social media activities across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, and other relevant platforms.
- Agile Research: Assist in researching fast-paced social media trends, viral content, competitor activities, and relevant content references.
- Empathetic Content Prep: Help prepare authentic content ideas, caption drafts, simple scripts, and visual references that truly resonate with our community.
- Production Prep: Assist the team in preparing content briefs, shot lists, and materials needed for content production.
- On-Set Support: Support content production activities, including helping during shooting, documentation, and behind-the-scenes needs.
- Scheduling: Help schedule and publish social media content based on the content calendar.
- Audience Engagement: Monitor comments, engagement, and audience responses with Empathy and a helpful attitude.
- Honest Reporting: Assist in creating transparent, simple weekly or monthly social media performance recaps.
- Live Coverage: Support live event coverage through Instagram Stories, reels, or simple documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the internal team (design, video, campaigns) with open and Honest communication to align content needs.
Requirements
What Capabilities You’ll Need (Requirements):
- Final-year student or fresh graduate from Communication, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Creative Media, or a related field.
- Active social media user who is familiar with Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, and current social media trends.
- Interested in content creation, digital marketing, and brand communication.Able to write simple captions, content ideas, and short-form video scripts with a touch of Empathy for the viewer.
- Familiar with basic editing or design tools such as Canva, CapCut, VN, or similar tools.
- Agility with technology: Familiar with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar platforms for research, brainstorming, and content creation support.
- Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
- Able to work in a team, follow direction well, and practice Honesty in feedback.
- Familiar with Google Workspace.
Bonus Points if You Have:
- Experience creating Reels, TikTok, or short-form video content.
- Familiar with social media insights or basic performance metrics.
- Comfortable helping during content shooting or simple documentation.
- Basic video editing skills.
- Experience managing social media for campus organizations, personal projects, communities, or previous internships.
