Job Description
- Test Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks tailored to the project requirements.
- Automation Development: Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Tool Implementation: Select and implement testing tools and technologies that enhance the team's testing capabilities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to identify testing needs and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Issue Tracking: Identify, document, and report defects and work with developers to resolve them.
- Test Reporting: Provide detailed test results and metrics, ensuring visibility into the quality of deliverables.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends in testing and automation, bringing innovative approaches to the team.
Requirements
Minimum
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in QA automation or software testing. Proficiency in automated testing tools like Selenium, Robot Framework, Appium, or Cypress.
- Programming Skills: Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Golang or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- **Testing Frameworks:**Experience with testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Mocha.
- **CI/CD Pipelines:**Familiarity with Github, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- **API Testing:**Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Version Control: Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
- **Problem Solving:**Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualitifcations
- Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as k6, Locust, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
