Job Description
Edufarmer is assisting in seeking a dynamic and experience Senior Policy Associate to join our partnering organization. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing government relations strategy, drive policy initiatives, and effectively communicating complex information to key stakeholders. The ideal candidate would be a self-driven individual possessing some understanding with trade/food sector, exceptional presentation and communication skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Government Relations: Develop and implement government relations strategies to advance organizations objective.
- Stakeholder engagement: build and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, regulatory bodies, industry association and other stakeholders.
- Policy Analysis and Advocacy: monitor, analyze, and interpret policy developments related to the agriculture/food industry. Develop policy positions and advocacy strategies to promote organizations interest.
- Evidence Based Communication: translate complex data and research findings into clear, concise, and compelling presentations and policy briefs for diverse audience, including government officials and industry leaders.
- Strategic Presentation: prepare and deliver high-impact presentation to internal and external stakeholder, effectively communication organization prespectives and recommendation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on policy initiatives.
Requirements
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Policy, Government Relations, Agriculture, Business, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in government relations, public affairs, or consulting, preferably within the agriculture/food sector.
· Proven track record of successfully engaging with government stakeholders and influencing policy outcomes.
· Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and present it effectively.
· Strong presentation skills and experience in developing and delivering presentations to senior-level audiences.
· Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
· Strong understanding of the political and regulatory landscape relevant to the agriculture/food industry.
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
· Fluency in English and Indonesian is required
