Worlder TEAM is a company under Worlder Group and based in Singapore that aims to enable companies in the food and beverage industry to bring their businesses to the global market. Worlder TEAM spearheads the development of efficient and effective IT solutions. 

Roles and responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the backend team to develop the frontend for our web applications. 
  2. Manage and mentor junior developers. 
  3. Create prototypes together with designers to confirm application requirements.
  4. Create simple frontend applications intended for internal demonstration of solutions from the R&D team.
  5. Working closely with the marketing team to develop and maintain company websites and product landing pages.
  6. Collaborate in agile software development teams.
  7. Maintaining existing codebase, including troubleshooting and debugging.

Requirements

Mandatory requirements:

  1. At least 5 years experience in web development. 
  2. Strong technical background in executing frontend application development. 
  3. Experienced in performance optimization, responsive design for desktop and mobile devices, and API integration. 
  4. Must be fluent in English, both oral and written.
  5. Teamwork and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Takes pride in developing high-quality and efficient software.
  7. Positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job and adapt to different technologies.
  8. Proficiency in 
  • Web app development with React.js and JavaScript.
  • HTML and CSS to develop and maintain company websites.
  • Git and GitHub.
  • GIMP or another graphical editor.
  • Development tools including build tools, npm, git, CI/CD tools, and browser developer tools. 

Additional requirements (ok to pick up on the job):

  1. Knowledge of SEO
  2. Knowledge of WordPress 
  3. Knowledge of Adobe XD
  4. Knowledge of GraphQL
  5. Have experience in desktop application development e.g. electron js
  6. Experience in an Agile product development environment
  7. Proficiency in Postman
  8. Proficiency in Docker
  9. Proficiency in JSON schema
  10. Proficiency in JEST
