Job Description
- Oversee and manage end-to-end accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Lead the review and improvement of accounting processes, policies, and internal controls to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes, providing required documentation and analytical support.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for management decisions.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesia’s accounting and tax regulations, including proper documentation and timely submissions.
- Support budget preparation, performance analysis, and other strategic financial planning activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, and management) to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, Brevet A&B) is an advantage.
- Minimum 4–5 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or audit, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; Mandarin is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards (PSAK/IFRS).
- Proven experience in managing month-end closing, reconciliations, and audit coordination.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High integrity, accountability, and commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
