Job Description
Responsibilities
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Overseeing the accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
- Providing financial advice and support to the management team
- Participating in the budgeting and forecasting process
- Supervising and mentoring junior accounting staff
- Identifying areas for process improvements and implementing efficient accounting practices
Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the consumer goods or manufacturing industry
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA) is highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
- Excellent attention to detail and a thorough understanding of financial reporting standards and regulations
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proven experience in managing and developing junior accounting staff
