Job Description
- Own and maintain the signaling firewall platform and supporting infrastructure
- Investigate critical alerts, signaling anomalies, and fraud indicators
- Monitor network systems such as Core CS PS, VAS & Charging network elements (MSC, MSS, HLR, HSS, SGSN, GGSN, vEPC, VAS and OCS)
- Monitor signaling traffic (SS7, Diameter, GTP-C)
- Monitor and analyze signaling traffic using Elastic / ELK Stack
- Develop and tune detection rules, dashboards, and SQL queries
- Troubleshoot platform, performance, and logging pipeline issues
- Support system and network expansion, upgrades, and major configuration changes
- Collaborate with core network, IT, operations teams, and vendors
Requirements
- Strong understanding of 2G/3G/4G mobile core networks (5G is a plus)
- Experience in telecom security, mobile core, or security monitoring
- Hands-on experience with Elastic / ELK and SQL
- Bash scripting (Python is a plus)
- Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, VLAN, BGP)
- Experience with Wireshark or packet analysis tools
- Signaling security / SS7 / Diameter / GTP experience is highly valued
