Job Overview:
We are looking for an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Specialist in order to improve website's visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs). This position involves optimizing website content, structure, and technical aspects to enhance organic search rankings and drive organic traffic. SEO Specialists employ various strategies and tactics to achieve higher rankings for targeted keywords and phrases.
Job Role:
- Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
- Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
- Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
- Research and analyze competitor advertising links
- Develop and implement link building strategy
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
Requirements
- Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, communications, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SEO can be beneficial.
- Experience: Prior experience in SEO, digital marketing, or related roles within the fashion retail industry is preferred.
- SEO Expertise: Strong understanding of SEO principles, techniques, best practices, and the ability to stay updated with industry trends.
- Keyword Proficiency: Proficiency in keyword research tools and strategies to identify relevant and high-ranking keywords.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with technical SEO aspects, website optimization, HTML, CSS, and content management systems.
- Content Creation: Ability to create compelling, well-optimized content that resonates with the fashion industry and attracts organic traffic.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in using SEO analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword tracking tools.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address technical SEO issues, algorithm changes, and ranking challenges.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, developers, and content creators.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing search engine algorithms, industry trends, and consumer behavior.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Fashion Industry Interest: An interest in and understanding of the fashion industry, including fashion trends, brands, and consumer behavior.
