Job Description

  • Drive sales of sequencing instruments, reagents, consumables, and services to achieve assigned targets.
  • Develop and implement territory-specific sales strategies to grow market share.
  • Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities across academic, clinical, and industrial sectors.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with KOLs, researchers, and decision-makers in genomics.
  • Partner with Field Service Engineers, Field Application Scientists, and Marketing to ensure comprehensive customer support.
  • Deliver impactful product presentations, demonstrations, and workshops showcasing Element Biosciences technology.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine strategy.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting within CRM systems.
  • Represent the company at scientific conferences, trade shows, and customer events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of sales experience in life science instrumentation; background in NGS, genomics, or molecular diagnostics is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel 40–60% within the assigned territory.
  • Experience in tender management and distributor coordination, particularly in regional markets (e.g., Southeast Asia).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
