Job Description
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications. Execute functional, integration, system, and regression tests to ensure quality deliverables.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using bug-tracking tools. Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and ensure effective testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts where applicable to enhance efficiency and coverage of testing processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing, with a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
