Job Description
Worlder TEAM’s current focus is on developing a suite of mobile and web apps with novel integrated solutions from our R&D team to help small businesses access global markets. As a small company with a focus on R&D at the moment, we are looking for a junior web and mobile QA engineer who can grow with the company. The engineer is expected to be working with other developers to ensure the quality of mobile and web apps.
The responsibilities include
- Understand product requirements thoroughly to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Help to continuously improve the existing QA framework
- Prepare test data, test plan, and test cases to test the applications (mobile & web) based on the technical and business specifications
- Perform QA tests (functional, non-functional, regression & end-to-end testing) on both the mobile and web applications
- Document test results
- Mentor Junior QA, and shadow lead one of the project
- Report and communicate issues to developers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing technologies and methodologies
Requirements
Mandatory requirements:
- Willingness to learn and adapt within a fast-paced environment
- Own end to end quality of assigned project or features
- Drive root cause analysis for production/major issues
- Review requirements with quality mindset
- Familiarity with version control systems like git
- Familiarity with shell scripting and basic Javascript programming
- Familiarity with testing tools such as postman, selenium, playwright, etc
Good to have:
- Ownership of CI/CD tools like jenkins, gitlab, etc
- Able to create automation framework from scratch
- Comfortable with CLI for daily work
It is a bonus if you have the following skills (you can pick them up on the job):
- Server Language: Golang
- Frontend Language: JavaScript & TypeScript
- Frontend Frameworks: React Native & ReactJS
- Server Framework: Echo
- Infrastructure: AWS & Docker
- CI/CD tool: Jenkins
