Role Overview
As a QA Intern, you will support the QA team in ensuring product quality while learning the fundamentals of software testing. You will assist in executing test cases, identifying bugs, and understanding how features are built and tested in a real startup environment.
This role is designed as a learning journey — you will gain hands-on experience in manual testing, basic API testing, documentation, and exposure to automation practices under guidance from senior QA Engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with QA Engineers in preparing and executing test cases.
- Perform manual testing on API and/or Web features under supervision.
- Help document test scenarios, test results, and bug reports clearly.
- Reproduce reported issues and help validate bug fixes.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies (grooming, planning, retrospective) to understand development workflows.
- Support regression testing activities.
- Learn and practice basic API testing using tools like Postman.
- Learn and contribute to write automated test.
Requirements
Requirements
- Final-year student or fresh graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Familiar with web applications and how they work.
- Basic understanding of REST API concepts (HTTP methods, status codes).
- Familiar with basic SQL queries.
- Strong willingness to learn, good attention to detail, and clear written communication skills.
- Experience using Postman for API testing, Git, basic knowledge of a programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Go, etc.) will be a plus.
- Experience working on campus projects involving system development will be a plus.
