Job Description
- Plan, design, and execute test cases based on project requirements.
- Perform functional, performance, API, and database testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product owners to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
- Participate in regression testing and support automation testing initiatives.
- Provide clear test reports and ensure compliance with QA standards and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tester or QA Engineer, preferably in the banking industry.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Skilled in using Test Management, Performance Testing, and Automation Testing tools.
- Good knowledge of API Testing, Database Testing, and experience working with AS400 systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in risk-based testing and mentoring junior testers is a plus.
- Holding QA-related certification(s) is an advantage.
