Job Description

  1. Research and identify potential vendors and suppliers for various goods and services required by the company.
  2. Prepare and send RFQs to vendors, requesting price and availability information for the required items.
  3. Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable pricing and terms for purchases while considering quality and delivery requirements.
  4. Create and process purchase orders based on approved requisitions and supplier agreements.
  5. Monitor and track the status of orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any potential delays or issues.
  6. Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth communication and resolve any problems that may arise.
  7. Collaborate with the inventory team to manage stock levels and avoid overstock or stock-out situations.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing activities, including supplier information, purchase orders, and receipts.

Requirements

  1. Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management or Industrial Engineering.
  2. Strong negotiation skills.
  3. Proficient in using the Accurate software.
  4. Minimum of 2 years of work experience, preferably in the buying and selling industry.
  5. Excellent communication skills, fluency in Hokkian language is preferred.
