Job Description
- Conducting the process of selecting vendors/suppliers who meet the qualifications to become company partners in fulfilling material/service procurement.
- Conducting initial negotiations and preparing bid comparisons for the offers submitted by vendors/suppliers related to material/service procurement.
- Maintaining good relationships with vendors/suppliers who are company partners to facilitate the procurement process.
- Coordinating with the User to ensure the specifications and quantities of materials.
- Preparing and sending Purchase Orders (PO) to vendors/suppliers to ensure the fulfillment of material requests.
- Coordinating with the project team to ensure materials are delivered and received by the project according to the specifications and quantities required by the user.
- Ensuring follow-up with Finance regarding vendor/supplier payments related to project material/service procurement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a purchasing in an MEP Contractor.
- Tech-savvy.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experienced in dealing with vendors.
- Able to manage the end-to-end process of material and subcontractor requests and fulfillment.
