Job Description
- Sourcing the trims materials and develop suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Have a good knowledges on trims in garment manufacturing, such as: hang tag, yarn, packaging, button, zipper, etc
- Negotiate agreements and pricing with suppliers
- Handle customs clearances and documentation and update if there is any regulation changes related with import-export to minimize the delay
- Monitoring the payments process
- Monitoring and develop the staff below in timely manner, providing guidance and support to achieve the goals.
- Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans
Requirements
- Bachelor degree of Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Proven experiences as a Purchase Manager, Asst. Manager or Supervisor in the garment industry with a Min. 5 years of relevant experiences.
- Fluent English (both oral and written).
- Thorough understanding of customs export-import procedures and regulations.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationship with supplier.
- Experiences handle 3-5 staff below and able to show a good leadership to develop the staff.
- Used to working with inventory management system.
- Have a good analytical skill and problem-solving abilities.
- Willing to be placed in Jakarta or Semarang office
