Job Description

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of pharmaceutical products.
  • Manage and evaluate supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring performance.
  • Oversee the purchasing process, from requisition to order fulfillment, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to understand product demand, new product introductions, and sourcing needs.
  • Monitor market trends and identify potential supply risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience min. 4 years in purchasing, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and relevant regulations.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and contracts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge in procurement software
