Job Description
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of pharmaceutical products.
- Manage and evaluate supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring performance.
- Oversee the purchasing process, from requisition to order fulfillment, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to understand product demand, new product introductions, and sourcing needs.
- Monitor market trends and identify potential supply risks and opportunities.
- Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience min. 4 years in purchasing, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and relevant regulations.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and contracts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge in procurement software
