Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Property Appraiser to join our team. This role will specialize in assessing properties. Which includes residential houses, apartments, land and shophouses, accurately and efficiently. This role will require an in-depth understanding of market trends and valuation methodologies, including several duties of a Property Appraiser.
You will be responsible to:
- Conduct property analysis to evaluate condition, features, and amenities
- Analyze sales data of similar properties to determine the value of the property
- Open to the use of technology and data analytics
- Compile detailed data points and processes required when surveys / inspections are carried out
- Utilize customized appraisal software and tools for properties to produce comprehensive appraisal reports
- Prepare a report outlining the appraisal methods used, property characteristics, and final appraisal conclusions for the property
- Following property market trends, environmental dynamics, and economic factors that influence property values
- Active in associations or communities
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards throughout the property appraisal process
Requirements
- MAPPI Advanced Education Assessment 1 (PLP 1)
- Minimum 4 years experience specializing in property valuation
- In-depth knowledge of property valuation techniques, methods and principles
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex housing market data
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly and concisely to stakeholders
- Ability to produce accurate and reliable residential property appraisal reports
- Ability to work independently and manage property appraisal assignments simultaneously
- Understanding of regulations and rules related to the appraisal profession, especially property appraisal
