Job Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, focusing on client satisfaction and operational excellence:
I. Project Planning and Setup
- Define Scope & Goals: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external clients to clearly define project scope, deliverables, success metrics, and objectives for new service implementations or transitions.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential project risks (e.g., technical, resource, compliance) and develop effective mitigation and contingency plans.
II. Execution and Client Management
- Lead Teams: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Training, Quality) to successfully execute the project plan.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring transparent, regular communication on progress, risks, and changes.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the transition to live operations, ensuring all processes and systems are ready to meet the defined SLAs and KPIs from the start.
III. Control and Closure
- Manage Change: Implement a formal change management process to control and track any deviations or modifications to the project scope, budget, or schedule.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular, comprehensive status reports to senior management and clients.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-project reviews (Lessons Learned) to identify best practices and areas for operational improvement.
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills (Requirements)
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager, with at least 3 years specifically within the BPO, IT Services, or Managed Services industry is required.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex transitions, process migration, or large-scale operational improvement projects.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Methodology Proficiency: Strong knowledge and practical experience with various project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile/Scrum).
- Tools Expertise: Proficiency with industry-standard project management software (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello, or equivalent).
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential for external client interaction.
