Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our team at Chronicle. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our product management, design, and development processes. Additionally, you will collaborate with the leadership team to share your expertise and drive continuous improvement within our organization.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to
- Led the product life cycle from conception to launch, working closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to create innovative solutions.
- Lead and help the personal development of the team by coaching members on best practices, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative environment. Ensure alignment with the company's vision and goals.
- Utilize your strong technical background to understand and oversee the product development process, ensuring that products are both feasible and aligned with market needs.
- Analyse market trends and competitor strategies to ensure our products stay competitive and address unmet needs.
- Gather customer feedback on current product features and designs to drive iterative improvements.
- Collaborate with customers throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure their needs are met effectively.
- Engage in continuous learning by reading industry-relevant literature and implementing best practices within our workflow.
- Collaborate closely with our UI/UX engineer to develop intuitive designs and user experiences for Chronicle.
- Work closely with the management team to map out and develop modules, asking probing questions to refine and enhance project outcomes.
- Drive the design and development of key projects, including the funeral director module, payments module, supplier marketplace, and freemium model.
- Assess product-market fit for developed modules based on customer response and feedback from the management team
- Streamline the development and design processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Embrace a fast-paced work environment and strive for rapid progress in project execution.

- Proven experience as a Product Manager, demonstrating a track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate ideas clearly.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and intellect, with the ability to think strategically and execute effectively
- Solid understanding of product development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Demonstrate the ability to gather and analyze customer feedback to drive product improvements.
- Proficiency in working with design tools and collaborating with UI/UX designers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- A continuous learner with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
