Job Description
The role
You’ll have a great skill to be able to take a product brief and design a user friendly interface that will wow our customers. You won’t be afraid to design in ways that haven’t been done before. All while maintain a consistent look and feel of our brand.
Duties and responsibilities
- Participate in project brief and design concept meetings
- Understand design brief/concept and determine timeframe (and budget if required) for completion
- Ensure stakeholders are kept up to date and managing expectations
- Conceptualise visuals based on design brief/concept
- Prepare drafts and present ideas based on design brief/concept
- Develop user interfaces using software or by hand
- Use appropriate colours and layouts based on our brand guide
- Work with our graphic designer to create graphics or illustrations
- Ability to explain the rationale behind a particular design
- Amend designs after feedback from stakeholders
- Seek approval for final designs
Requirements
- Proven experience with a strong portfolio of previous designs
- Familiarity with software such as Figma
- An eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
