Job Description
- Manage procurement planning and ensure effective implementation of policies and procedures.
- Validate procurement requests and conduct budget, cost, and price analysis.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, including vendor evaluation and selection.
- Monitor vendor contracts and performance to ensure compliance with agreed terms.
- Support users with procurement advice and drive continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related fields, with 3–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in building or infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in quantity measurement, technical drawing analysis, cost planning, cost estimation, and cost control.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building materials, industry standards, and regulations.
- Good understanding of construction contracts (FIDIC, lump sum, unit price), including variation orders and claim management.
- Familiar with procurement, tender processes, and vendor/subcontractor negotiation, with strong analytical, logical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills; QS certification (CQS, IQSI, RICS, etc.) is preferred.
