Job Description
- Individual & Group Instruction: Deliver inspiring lessons that cover technique, theory, repertoire, and musical interpretation.
- Progress Tracking: Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents.
- Performance Opportunities: Prepare students for recitals, concerts, and other performance opportunities to showcase their talents.
- School Community Involvement: Participate in school events, workshops, and collaborations to create a vibrant musical community.
- Curriculum Design & Implementation: Develop engaging and comprehensive lesson plans and activities, tailored to individual student needs and skill levels.
Requirements
- Musical Expertise:
- Bachelor in Music Education or Performance (Piano major) preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Having other Piano performance/teaching certifications is a plus.
- Teaching Experience: Demonstrated experience teaching piano to students of various ages, abilities, and settings.
- Passion & Patience: Committed to excellence in educating especially in music, encouraging approach to teaching, and providing a safe environment for students.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with students and parents.
- Creativity: Ability to design engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
