Job Description
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications using PHP.
- Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Write technical documentation for developed features and systems.
- Assist in database design and optimization.
- Support deployment process and monitor application performance post-release.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of proven experience as a PHP Developer.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or similar.
- Good understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful API development.
- Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and payment gateways is a plus.
- Understanding of web security best practices (authentication, authorization, data protection).
- Ability to write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
