Job Description

  • Develop accurate garment patterns based on designer sketches, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Create first patterns for sample development using CAD pattern-making software.
  • Ensure patterns meet design intent, fit standards, construction requirements, and production feasibility.
  • Collaborate closely with Designers, Technical Designers, Merchandisers, and Sample Room throughout the product development process. Revise patterns based on fitting sessions, comments, and production requirements.
  • Prepare grading for different sizes while maintaining garment proportions and fit consistency.
  • Create and maintain marker layouts to optimize fabric utilization and minimize material waste.
  • Review garment measurements and ensure compliance with company size specifications
  • Maintain pattern archives and technical documentation for future reference.
  • Support production teams in resolving technical issues related to garment construction and fit. Ensure all patterns are completed within development timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma/ High school in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Pattern Making, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pattern Maker in the apparel or fashion retail industry prefer ladies product.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, sewing techniques, fabric behavior, and fit.
  • Proficient in manual pattern making and CAD software (such as Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, Tukatech, or similar).
