A logistics company is looking for a strategic, analytical, and improvement-driven Operations Manager to lead our Customer Service, Import Operations, and Warehouse teams.
This is not a typical “firefighting” operations role. We’re looking for someone who builds systems, improves processes, and leads people with structure, logic, and clarity. Someone who thinks beyond daily operations and drives company-wide impact.

What You’ll Be Up To
- Lead and oversee end-to-end operations across Customer Service, Import, and Warehouse, ensuring smooth, reliable, and efficient day-to-day execution.
- Analyze operational performance using data, KPIs, and structured problem-solving, turning issues into root-cause insights and long-term improvements—not short-term fixes.
- Optimize workflows & SOPs to reduce errors, improve speed and accuracy, and ensure alignment with broader business objectives and cross-functional priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen, lean principles, and structured project management.
- Build, coach, and develop the operations team, delegating effectively, growing capabilities, and fostering a culture of ownership, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with vendors and logistics partners, monitor performance, resolve issues professionally, and identify alternative vendors when current partners no longer fit business needs.
- Collaborate closely with all departments, communicating complex operational insights in a clear, simple way that supports well-informed decision-making.
- Own key operational KPIs, documentation, and compliance, ensuring adherence to import/export regulations, minimizing risk, and providing transparent, structured reporting to leadership.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in operations management, including 4+ years leading teams.
- Strong understanding of import operations, customer service processes, and warehouse workflows.
- Hands-on experience managing vendors or outsourced teams (international exposure is a plus).
- Solid analytical ability with experience monitoring KPIs and driving process improvements.
- Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects (cost reduction, process efficiency, revenue impact).
- Hands-on experience implementing Lean, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with import/export regulations, documentation, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

- Understanding of process optimization or operational improvement methods.
