Job Description
Role Overview
Reporting to the head of PCTSR Department, the Motor Adjuster investigates insurance claims on behalf of the insurer. They review supporting documents of the damaged object to obtain all necessary facts once a claim is logged.
Scope of Work
- Determining the cause of loss;
- Assessing the extent of damage or loss;
- Determining if the claim is covered by the policy;
- Estimating the cost of repairs or replacements;
- Recommending an appropriate payout.
Responsibilities
- To carry out survey/inspection of loss or damage in general motor vehicle accident in occurring, to ascertain, nature, circumstances and extent of damage sustained;
- To prepare concise but comprehensive reports in a timely manner and in accordance with the guidelines set out by the company;
- To be available to attend survey/inspection outside working hours and on weekends (public holidays) as and when required.
Requirements
Required Skills
- Candidate must possess at least SMK graduates in Automotive;
- Having min. 1 (one) year of experience as a vehicle mechanics;
- Prepared to work as Team and willing to travel within Jabodetabek area and if necessary throughout Indonesia particularly in remote area;
- Computer Literate, willing to work under tight deadline and adapt to desk-bound and remote working scheme;
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, dynamic and proactive;
- Temporary position(s) available.
