Job Description
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for warehouse operations, including inventory, stock movements, and COGS (Cost of Goods Sold).
- Monitor and reconcile inventory discrepancies in collaboration with warehouse and procurement teams.
- Prepare and review financial reports related to stock, sales, and warehouse operations.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Process and maintain accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries.
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for warehouse and inventory costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the retail industry
- Proven experience in warehouse accounting, including inventory management and cost control.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, ERP, or similar).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different teams.
