Job Description
- Create, review, and comprehend technical worksheets, measurements, and standard requirements for the assigned brand or customer. Input information from technical worksheets and create corresponding data files.
- Source, arrange, or purchase all materials, trims, and accessories for various sample types (e.g., proto, fit, advertising, salesman, sealing, pre-production, and top-of-production samples).
- Check fabric, accessories, and packing material prices to prepare sample order usage plans.
- Prepare fabric and trim cards for the sample room and production factory.
- Review raw material information for cost sheet preparation and collaborate with the Manager/Senior Manager to finalize costing.
- Ensure that samples are submitted on time, meet company specifications, and follow up on feedback for continuous improvement.
- Execute and monitor development processes to ensure "Buy Ready" status before bulk orders, including the finalization of templates, tech packs, construction worksheets, fit approvals, and other necessary documentation for handover to relevant departments and factories.
- Conduct meetings with the Development and Bulk Production teams to ensure correct garment construction based on buyer requirements.
- Oversee the development of all styles to align with company specifications and requirements while ensuring costing accuracy and updating all related documents for both samples and production.
- Achieve and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) and goals effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor Degree
- At least have 3 years of experience in the same field.
- Have attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Hardworking with a good attitude and team spirit
- Thorough understanding of industry best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of industry-specific trends and issues.
- Have a relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Well organised and able to multi-task and work towards tight deadlines.
- Persuasive, problem-solver
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
