About The Role
The Medical Advisor (Dermatologist / Medical Representative) will provide medical and scientific expertise to support the development, validation, and regulatory approval of the company’s products. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external experts to ensure that products meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and regulatory compliance. The Medical Advisor will also contribute to the continuous improvement of product formulations by staying updated on the latest research, clinical studies, and industry trends.
Product and Material Validation
- Collaborate with the Product Development Team to validate product formulations and materials using reputable scientific journals and industry recommendations.
- Evaluate the safety and efficacy of ingredients and products based on the latest clinical research and medical guidelines.
- Share insights on new findings, potential risks, and emerging issues related to product ingredients and healthcare trends.
Medical Representative
- Serve as a key medical representative within the Expert Team to guide the formulation process, ensuring that product claims are substantiated by scientific evidence.
- Actively participate in Q&A sessions to address any medical inquiries regarding product safety, formulation, and ingredient selection.
Regulatory and Compliance Support
- Work closely with regulatory teams to ensure compliance with local and international health standards, including BPOM regulations.
- Provide input to strengthen product claims and improve the approval process by offering medical expertise and recommendations.
Collaboration with External Experts
- Liaise with external dermatologists, healthcare professionals, and research organizations to gather insights and validate product efficacy.
- Facilitate discussions with external stakeholders to gain expert opinions on product safety, usage, and potential impact.
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation that support the scientific validity of products, ensuring all claims are supported by credible sources.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all research, product evaluations, and expert consultations.
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Dermatology, General Medicine, or related fields.
- 2 years of experience in the medical or healthcare industry, preferably with exposure to product development or regulatory affairs.
- Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies, medical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret scientific data and translate it into practical recommendations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external experts.
- Ability to stay updated on the latest developments in healthcare, dermatology, and product safety.
