Job Description
TV Placement Strategy & Planning
- Develop TV strategy & flowchart: objectives, target audience, channel/program mix, flighting, dayparting.
- Set target GRP/Reach/Frequency; calculate CPP/CPRP & cost efficiency.
- Select programs/slots and sponsorship packages (PA/OBB/closing, bumper, lower-third, squeeze frame, billboard, tickers, ad-libs/host mention, product placement).
- Prepare spot plan, insertion order (IO), coordinate materials (duration, legal line, music/VO, QC materials).
Sponsorship & Content Partnership (On-Air / Off-Air)
- Design & negotiate sponsorship packages for special programs, seasonal shows, award shows, sports, reality, variety, etc.
- On-air integration: ad-libs, on-screen bug/logo, product placement, quizzes/special segments, co-branded promos, tag-ons.
- Off-air: TV concerts/events, station roadshows, press conferences, meet & greet, venue branding (stage, LED, booth), sampling & games (coordinate with EO & brand team).
Monitoring, QA & Post-Buy
- Monitor ad logs/spottings, proof of airing, and sponsorship deliverables compliance.
- Post-buy analysis: delivery of GRP/Reach/Frequency, CPRP, make-good in case of under-delivery.
- Evaluate sponsorship: inventory delivered vs plan, media value, on-air exposure, off-air documentation.
- Prepare brief reports for management: insights, learnings, and optimization recommendations.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in media planning/buying TV and sponsorship (agency/advertiser).
- Understanding of TV audience measurement (GRP/Reach/Frequency), CPP/CPRP, flighting, dayparting, and program integration.
- Experience developing and executing end-to-end sponsorship packages (on-air/off-air).
- Strong negotiation skills, meticulous administration and documentation (IO, contracts, logs, proof of broadcast).
- Able to create clear decks (flowcharts, cost summaries, deliverables) and communicate across teams.
- Preferred FMCG experience, strong network with TV stations and event organizers; understanding of basic legal/content usage rights.
