Job Description

  • Marketing and communications Assistant managers supervise and direct the workflow of marketing, advertising, or public relations specialists by assigning job tasks, facilitating interdepartmental communications, and managing external communications.
  • Their expertise allows them to allocate company resources to maximize collaboration, efficiency, and creativity in the building and maintenance of consistent branding or corporate identity across marketing and public relations channels. Must have a good networking channel in the creative industry.
  • Responsible for staying up-to-date on industry trends
  • The management side of the job may involve the development and refinement of marketing goals, pricing strategies, promotional activities, and branding in consultation with marketing staff and clients. Directing market analysis and research to identify trends and opportunities is another marketing job duty.
  • Managed an effective annual special event program, including Christmas, Chinese New Year, Ied Mubarak, the ESG program, and other smaller events.
  • On the A&P side of the job, there is concern about communications management and the public's perception of AEON Mall as a brand & company. Directing the creation of internal communications, press releases, and speeches given by executives, as well as web or social media presence, is all in the domain of communications management.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams—from A&P to Design Graphic—to produce effective promotional materials.
  • Maintain good relations and communication with vendors and contractors for the development and production of events. Leveraged strengths in cost-effective marketing management and vendor negotiations.
  • Maintain a good relationship and contact with 3rd parties like event organizers, foundations or the community, for a possibility of Good Event Collaboration
  • Maintain a pleasant working attitude, work according to Standard operating procedures, and also have good coordination with other department
  • Preparing post-mortem reports for all events and programs, to achieve better services for future events

Requirements

  • A bachelor's Degree in Marketing Communication/Journalism/Public Relations is preferably
  • Fluent in English and Japanese language (will be an advantage)
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the Marketing and Communication Department
  • Applicants must be willing to work at the head office (BSD City)
  • Willing to commute, mute, or rotate to another Project mall or other company within one group
  • Willing to work on a public holiday
  • Experience in conception and handling successful Mall Events, Shopping Promotion programs and Customer Retention Management (loyalty program).
  • Digital Savvy and the capabilities to create an integrated marketing strategy.
  • Have a vast network and good relationships with sponsors, vendors, and other parties surrounding marketing communication departments, such as entertainers, licensors, agencies, decoration vendors, and media.
  • Have good common sense, high initiative, high creativity, and good time management skills.
  • Must be a creative person, always coming up with fresh ideas, energetic and having good motivation
