Job Description
- Teach Mandarin courses for various levels, with a focus on beginner to intermediate levels (HSK 1–4) and business-oriented Mandarin for adult learners.
- Develop students’ listening and speaking skills through pronunciation practice, pinyin drills, tone exercises, and conversational activities.
- Deliver practical Mandarin lessons focused on workplace communication, business vocabulary, and professional scenarios.
- Adapt teaching methods and learning materials based on students’ levels, goals, ages, and learning styles.
- Guide students in Mandarin grammar, sentence structures, vocabulary development, and character recognition.
- Design engaging speaking activities such as role plays, business dialogues, presentations, and real-life communication scenarios.
- Introduce Chinese culture, idioms, professional etiquette, and cultural insights to support effective communication.
- Prepare and evaluate assignments, quizzes, listening exercises, and speaking assessments to monitor student progress.
- Support students preparing for HSK exams through vocabulary practice, test strategies, and exam-focused exercises.
- Provide constructive feedback and learning recommendations to help students improve their Mandarin skills.
- Collaborate with other tutors and academic teams to improve teaching materials and learning experiences.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching Mandarin, preferably to adult learners or working professionals.
- Mandarin proficiency equivalent to HSK 4–5 level.
- Experience teaching Business Mandarin is highly preferred.
- Familiar with Business Chinese Test (BCT) materials and business-oriented Mandarin learning.
- Must be based in Cirebon.
- Able to conduct Mandarin classes in both online and offline formats.
