Job Description
- Livestream Operations: Lead the setup, continuous monitoring, and real-time troubleshooting of live stream feeds to ensure maximum uptime and stream health.
- Linear & Event Channel Management: Oversee and maintain operations for up to 80 linear channels and up to 20 concurrent event channels.
- Shift-Based Monitoring: Operate effectively within a shift schedule to support continuous 24/7 coverage and live event windows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely in a team environment with broadcast engineers, technical operations, and production staff.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of IP delivery protocols, including SRT, RTMP, HLS, and UDP
- Proven experience with live stream infrastructure design, distribution schemas, and broadcast hardware (routers, decoders, encoders, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with live production software such as vMix, OBS Studio, and enterprise broadcast tools.
- Solid foundational understanding of network infrastructure, including bandwidth management, routing, and troubleshooting latency/packet loss.
- Experience monitoring multi-channel outputs and operating in shift-based or live event production environments.
