Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Linux Engineer, who will manage Linux-based systems for Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will be responsible for optimising system performance and ensuring smooth deployments across production and staging environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious, AWS certified Linux system engineer to work and help drive projects whilst becoming integral in the strategic technical road map of the company.
This will be an in office-based position in, the office is based in IFC2, Jakarta. The working hours will be Monday – Friday 10:00am until 7:00pm Indonesia time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Support web infrastructure to aid the development team in projects delivery
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux servers and associated technologies
- Collaborate with IT manager to design and implement system solutions
- Participate in the planning and execution of system upgrades, patches, and migrations
- Develop and maintain scripts using Bash and PowerShell to automate system tasks and processes
- Perform backups and recoveries
- Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards
Requirements
Key Requirements:
- A positive can-do attitude
- Proficiency in AWS Linux operating systems
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Python, and PowerShell
- Knowledge of standard operating procedures
- Experience with system administration tasks such as system diagnostics, performance tuning, monitoring, and backup/recovery
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
